Industrial Heavy Manufacturing Conveying Systems

Built to last…made to perform, custom designed conveyor systems for the industrial & heavy manufacturing industries. With no set industry standard for conveyors used in industrial & heavy manufacturing, the dimensions of our conveyor assembly lines are widely varied to meet any requirement.

Capacity for the heavier, industrial applications depends on several factors such as the conveying surface, motor power rating, and conveyor support structure. Common materials these conveyors are made from are steel, and plastic. Materials that the conveyors can handle that are specific to this industry are assembly line parts or subcomponents, finished goods, totes, and pallets.

Industrial & Heavy Manufacturing Conveyor Types

Ideal for environments where oil, dust, or debris are present due to drive and transmission (chains and sprockets) that are used to power the rollers. This positive drive design makes the CDLR conveyor a good choice to transport loaded pallets, containers, drums, and totes. Chain driven live roller conveyors are capable of handling loads that weigh up to several thousand pounds. Designed for torque not speed, these types transport loads at relatively slow speeds ranging between 35 and 60 feet per minute.
These can be in the form of a slat or tow line conveyor that move fixtures at floor level to belt conveyors moving light weight sub-assemblies at waist high levels, so that factory employees can access and transform these sub-assemblies to the finished product.
These conveyors, sometimes referred to as drag chain conveyors. This conveyor type moves the load where the base (often a pallet) is strong enough to support the rows of chains that are used to move the loads.
The conveying surface are rollers that are powered by a belt that is held in contact with the bottom side of the rollers.
