Industrial Kinetics recently shipped a pair of wire mesh belt conveyors for an aluminum die-cast project. The mesh belt conveyor was used for cooling and accumulation of products between two robots in the die-cast process.
Wire mesh belt conveyor on roller was selected for the following reasons:
- Sprocket driven, eliminating potential tracking issues
- Durability of the conveyor surface, handling metal parts
- Heat resistance
- Open conveying surface suitable for air flow and cooling
